Super Freeze function: prevents the food in your freezer from defrosting

Adding new food to the freezer raises its internal temperature, which can cause partial thawing and a loss of flavour. The Super Freeze function rapidly freezes new items to stop the rest of the freezers contents from thawing. Models with an automatic Super Freeze switch back to normal operation once the required temperature is reached, to avoid wasting energy. That way frozen food keeps its flavour even when new items are added.
